  1. Things you need to know about the new ‘Conversations’ PM system:

    a) DO NOT REPLY TO THE NOTIFICATION EMAIL! I get them, not the intended recipient. I get a lot of them and I do not want them! It is just a notification, log into the site and reply from there.

    b) To delete old conversations use the ‘Leave conversation’ option. This is just delete by another name.

Recharging his batteries - usually takes around 10 mins to go from 'ooh I feel a little weary' to 'banzai batsh*t crazy'.

'Yes, I might move, but saying 'Oi...shift yer *rse' and clicking your fingers will mean I'm going the square root of nowhere'. Thinks he's bloody royalty sometimes.

Twice now when I’ve gone for a walk to aid my recovery, Pedro has come with me. He managed about 0.7 miles today before he needed to turn back, thirsty. He seems to love the new scenery and my company :)

    Scooby - my sister's Galgo
He was bitten on the side for the second time in a few weeks - hence the cone

I saw many of these while in Spain, in my ignorance I thought they were local greyhound crosses until a kind soul educated me. Lovely temperament and exceedingly rapid like their cousins.
He wasn't bitten by the same dog twice was he?

    Different dogs.
He's a rescue from Spain, the poor things are often killed or abandoned at the end of the hunting season
Martin Usborne's book "Where Hunting dogs rest" is worth a look and with some of the proceeds from sales going to rescues in Spain
