A house spider. I have several.

Tony.

Id like to see the photo after it got squished or its legs pulled off they'd have to be in HD though to make me smile

Jago - Debbolinby Russet Gambler 3/4/5 - 11/7/13 by eponamusic, on Flickr

Today Jago died in the veterinary surgery after complications from Autoimmune Haemolytic anaemia, a terrible disease that causes his red blood cells to be attacked by his immune system; he was diagnosed a short while ago and he started a regime of autoimmune suppressants, steroids and red cell transfusions. I bought him in every other day for a blood test and today decisions were to be made whether to give him another red cell transfusion tomorrow and see a specialist, possibly a splenectomy, it all seemed like if we could just get his red cell count up he could have more options... but he collapsed at the door of the surgery and vets were unable to fully resuscitate him. Simply not enough red blood cells to keep his heart and body functioning. He was down to 9% last week before his red cell transfusion.

This is the last photo I took of him as he slept at my feet yesterday as he usually did while I was reading or working. Tremendously loyal.

He was just over 8 years old. His last meal was a treat of venison sausages to go with his medicines. A bear of a dog. He will be missed.

That's terrible fox, so quick its not like old age where you can prepare your self, deepest sympathy.

Pete

Sorry to hear that Fox. Desperately sad when you lose a loved pet. One of my cats went into the vets earlier this year for what I thought was a routine check but the vet called to say she had a major terminal kidney problem and a heart murmur and she didn't come back. I still miss her jumping up onto my lap at every possibility.

Not really a pet but he hangs around looking for food, I feed him and he sometimes lets me stroke him.

He is very thin and a battered ear, A neighbour is going to take him to the cat rescue when we can capture him.

Pete
