Photography Show at the NEC

I would have loved to go but sadly used all of my brownie points up for a trip to Snowdonia last weekend. A shame as I'm potentially in the market for some new gear...

I went today, spent more than I intended (but I blame @Lefty !!)

I intended to buy a couple Tenba BYOB inserts (which I did at 20% off), and I also intended to buy some Fotospeed Legacy Gloss paper which I did but I had to buy another pack of paper to get 50% off the cheapest pack!!

I did not intend to buy a Canon Pro-1000 printer but a double cashback off at the show (all current Canon cashbacks are doubled), meant that its net cost is a mere £17 a kilo (or £699 in total)

I elected not to take one away from the show, as NEC car parks are not exactly close, so it will be delivered next week.

There were lots of deals on lots of hardware, but I managed to resist everything else!!!

(No show deals on the usual overpriced sh*te NEC coffee though)

Really looking forward to hearing how you get on with the Pro-1000. Mine is back up and running now but due to the new head, I am going to have to re-profile all of my papers :(
