photo printer

Does anyone have experience of a good photo printer? We have a 4 year old which has done well but the world has probably moved on. It needs to work with an iMac.

Prepared to pay for good quality.

The Epson R2880 works for me. This printer does both colour and black and white really well on gloss and Matte paper. It is a bit of a pain changing the black ink between the two paper types, but I don't do that very often. The light and dark shades being separate for the colours make a big difference in accuracy in the colours. The printer works well from A4 through A3 to A3+

If you don't need bigger than A4, there is a cheaper Epson printer, the R800. The Epson site confirms the R2880 works with Mac.

Jay, A3 is a good size for wall mounting. A3+ is a good size for office hanging. Having the flexibility to do all sizes up to A3+ is handy.
