RIP Phil. I was never a huge fan but their run of psych singles were pretty impressive and I still enjoy Parachute to this day.

Last saw them at The Ropetackle arts centre in Shoreham about 3 years ago when they played a benefit for the aircrash victims. They were still good.

Seen them twice within the last 2/3 years at the Flowerpot in Derby.
They always put on a superb live show and I think they said they’d not be back as they were going to call it a day.

What a run they had.....R.I.P. Phil.

The "live in the studio" show they did at EMI #2 for "SF Sorrow" was fun.

I can still hear a school buddy breaking into 'Don't bring Me Down' on the sports field one morning. Liking that song, and Rosalyn, marked you out as cool and rebellious when ahh wur a lad. I never really heard their later stuff but was always impressed to read that they were still chugging on.

A bad life... well lived..
