Found this lime hawk moth at the bottom of the garden yesterday, it looks like a camouflage aircraft from the top and an alien from the side!

Had a good walk around Casterton and Barbon a few days ago. The wild flowers are beautiful in the Dales this year - I've seen it suggested that this is because the bracken is late and hasn't hidden the bluebells.
