Went on my first 'wild' camping trip with my son (6) yesterday. It's bonkers that we had to wait until the last day of May for a suitable weather window, but I have to say it was certainly worth the wait. I'm pleased to say he had a fantastic time, at one point declaring it to be 'the best day of his life'. The trip was firmly about soaking in the experience and enjoying ourselves so camera time and gear were limited. Having said that, it would have been rude not to take a few snapshots to preserve the memories.
