First ever attempt at astro, so pretty mediocre, just from the house here, but it's a start. There are a whole new set of things to consider.

24mm lens, single exposure, about 11 minutes at f/8, ISO 100, D610. Some general tweaking in Capture NX-D.

Awesome photos. David - glad you are on the mend. Sounds very similar (similar angle anyway!) to what happened to a friend of mine, as she stepped off a boat on to a jetty. Good luck with the re-hab.
