Your black and white images look amazing. Is this some sort of digital black magic or is it more that Leica excels at black and white? I know the M240P isn’t a Monochrom, but your B&W photos look a lot like Monochrom pix.

Thanks Joe - that's very kind.

Re the black & whites, I have found the M240's raws do convert really nicely to mono and are extremely pliable. In terms of dynamic range, the sensor isn't particularly spectacular but there's definitely a 'pop' which is pleasing to the eye - helped by the sharpness/contrast of the glass.

Victoria amazonica (Amazonian water lilies) is a species of flowering plant, the largest of the water lily family Nymphaeaceae . It is well known for its huge circular leaves which can support a child or two sitting in the center.

Super vibrant colour there!!

The oblique angle of light as the sun was setting completely lit up the canopy, bringing out even more colours.
