Bonny shot Pete. She is doing well.

Great landscape Martin. The 800 is quite tempting - still looking but not decided if the E is worth the premium (or if it is worth my while jumping ship as I rather like the Pentax primes).

One with the DA70 limited

Cleansound,

Fantastic Joe, care to share how you went about this image ?
Cheers, dude.

Not much to say other than I set the camera's shutter speed and aperture manually, popped the camera into panoramic mode, then clicked the shutter as I slowly rotated clockwise.

I took a couple more but I wasn't as happy with them. Odd lighting that evening.

The moon rising over Les Dents de Lanfon just outside Annecy. I fancy having a walk up there, maybe tomorrow. Mamiya ZD, 150/3.5

Now that is a beautiful picture.

Cheers, Cliff.

I'd love to get a Fuji 617 but that would require Cliffonian levels discretionary cabbage. :)

Ahh...Annecy, what a beautiful location. I was there a few years ago for a few weeks on business, must try and get back there.

Martin,

Yes, it's a lovely part of the world - my folks have lived there for the last 25 years or so. Here's a shot of the lake from Forclaz (with nutters parapenting on the thermals), and one of the Chateau de Menthon with a bit of the lake in the background. The weather is changing today so it's a bit hazy, especially when looking 10 miles down the lake ;-)
