I don't shoot 35mm very often, so I don't know how I managed to load a previously exposed film (presumably from the LX) into the konica and shoot it all over again

I see from Flickr that you use the D800 - how do you find it for B&W dynamic range?

Thanks Cliff. Just aquired the D800 a couple of weeks ago, so still learning. Subjectively the dynamic range seems wider than the D7000. I have started using the ADL feature, which really just exposes for highlights then boosts shadow levels. The D800 noise in shadows is very low, so you can gain a lot of usable range.

For this image I used Silver Efex which to me allows manipulation very similar to what one would be doing in a darkroom., then added some very mild split toning to try to simulate Multigrade FB.
