Ok, so Highway 101 had some country hits in the 80s but never took off in a big way. A few years back I bought one of their albums and gave it a whirl last night. A nice recording, if a bit too sweet sounding for my current tastes.
Paulette is also featured on "Will the Circle Be Unbroken", vol II.
She's not been very prolific since, but apparently is still performing. I thinks she had a great voice, just wondering if anybody out there has listened to more of Highway 101/Paulette and has an idea of what she's like to day, and if it's worth going after the more recent reunion and solo recordings?
