Just heard that Paul Raymond of UFO has passed away from a heart attack.

UFO at the Roundhouse in 77 is still the most enjoyable rock gig I have ever been to and "Strangers in the Night" is IMHO, the best rock live album to date.

Oh, pity. many good memories of stuff going on to a UFO background. Saw them live at a bike rally once... so good that they weren't good in a weird way... so polished they could have been playing the studio CD whilst the band mimed! (they didn't!). RIP.

I think UFO are doing their farewell tour at the moment. Not sure if Paul was involved. He was with them last tour I went to. RIP Paul. You will be missed.

Sad day , he was involved on this farewell tour. Phil Mogg decided to call time. Fabulous rock band.
