Passive Pre Wiring

Current project is a passive pre using a DACT (Elma) switch and a pair of Bourns 10K conductive plastic pots.

Any suggestions for wiring? I like the idea of twisted pair from a neatness POV.

Material: Cu, Ag?

Solid, multstrand?

Telflon,???

I've just built a pair of different passive pre's.......[actually three but its boring]

I've used silver in oversized sleeves for all ....the sound is really rather too good !
the reason was to allow me to do some mods on the ageing quad 77 pre ...trouble is the stepped version is so far a head of the quad as to make any changes redundant. The relay switched passive with and alps pot sounds dark and silky but not as good as the stepped pre. I'm going to fit the rely board to the stepped pre so I should get the best of both !

If you need any 0.3 ag let me know....you shouldn't need more than a couple of m's

What ever cable you use make sure it is the lowest capacitance you can get.

Should be able to track down some silver.

I wanted to get away from Alps pots, hence the Bourns. Next step will be to try them in shunt.
