[WTD] Olympus MFT

Thinking about moving to an Olympus Micro 4/3 set-up to reduce the weight and size of the current DSLR. Anyone got lenses/body that they're thinking of moving on before I hit the shops? (also happy to hear any feedback on the Olympus system, good or bad)

I've no gear to move on, but make sure you're happy with the EVF. I have the EM-1, and the EVF is OK, although not as good as the OVF on the Olympus E3 I had before. The new OM-1 has an improved EVF, but I've not tried it.

 

Thanks for the advice ciderglider. I've never used an EVF so have the advantage of not having to compare with any better EVFs, and fully anticipate that an EVF is going to be "different" from the OVF on my Nikons. It's an EM-1 I'm heading towards as the OM-1 is outside my budget. Maybe in a few years, if I'm comfortable with the photos and the cost to change isn't too bad (aka OM-1 Mk2 released!), I might take a look at the OM-1 - I learnt the lesson of not looking at what you can't afford the hard way with hi-fi!
