May’s probably praying for an England win in the World Cup semis to remove some of the media heat.

She wants England in the Word Cup Final, so she can go to Moscow, canoodle with the squad and deflect that lots of Tory MPs dislike her.

Ooops I forgot. There is a bit of a problem with this. May acts like Putin is Son of Satan and seems to think the Russians are trying to kills off UK citizens with Novichock.

1922 committee meeting tonight...knives out for May. Tell you what, If we have that human oilslick buntcubble Johnson imposed on us as leader of the country...

Boris Goes: British Pound in the Red vs. Euro and Dollar as Challenge on PM May's Position Looms Large

From the above link:

"GBP weakens after Boris Johnson's resignation, as it increases the likelihood of both a no-deal Brexit and an outright government crisis. Expect GBP to stay volatile and weak due to high political uncertainty," says a flash comment from Danske Bank's research department.

“These two key cabinet resignations now increase the likelihood of a softer Brexit, an idea and concept that has always resonated well with sterling,” says Hamish Muress, a currency analyst at OFX.

So that’s all clear then.

Meanwhile Labour seems to think it is stable enough to call the government unstable.
Take a breath, get the Ginsters in. You’re watching a once in a generation government meltdown. The slime Johnson, didn’t show up at the last minute to a major international conference the FCO had convened on the Balkans, with delegates from around the world waiting. He was busy writing his bullshit resignation letter and still hasn’t vacated his rooms at the FCO. This is what the country is dealing with.

Now, remember that bet of an election this year that was ridiculed in some quarters? How's that looking now?

Brilliant, I'd say.

Here's how it goes.

May addresses backbenchers. Many don't like what she has to say. Some hate what she says. Total turmoil. Knives sharpened and she goes. Either pushed or resigns.

Leadership election brings more chaos as Tories continue to rip each other apart. Nobody worth a pish able to unite the party and they certainly won't want an Asian bloke. General election. Labour win convincingly. Europeans bend over backwards to help us Brexit. Works out pretty well. The end.

PS As an added bonus England win World Cup and sunny weather continues until October.
