ns1000 l-pad removal

hi,im going to remove the level controls on my ns1000's.
im following this advice for the resistors to use,
Mid driver Series 5R1; Parallel 4R7
Tweeter: Series 3R3; Parallel: 6R
my question is and it may be a stupid one but does it matter how many resistors i use to get each value? some i will have to but for others i can get the value with just 1.

No, it doesn’t matter. I only used more than one, in series, to get the values I wanted. I didn’t use any in parallel.
