Not an obvious choice, maybe ...

... but has anyone ever used a SuperNait with Quad ESL63s?
Did it work?
Did anything blow up?
Did it sound any good?
Thanks for any replies!

No, but I use 63s and know the Supernait (and like it lots). They aren't difficult to drive and any Naim should be fine, though small ones won't play very loud in larger rooms.

Early versions of the 63 had a crowbar as final stage protection and that could certainly damage a Naim if it fired. Not a problem on later 63s for while it still exists in modified form it takes more volts than a Naim can muster to trigger the crowbar.

Go for it - the pairing will work very well.

Thanks for the relies. My 63s have been re-built by One Thing, so I assume the crowbar will have been changed to later versions or otherwise modified, so therefore wouldn't be a problem. I'll check with OT first.
I'm tempted by the Supernait as I've heard it's had great reviews all round, and it'll significantly reduce my box and wire count, which has to be a good thing!
I'd better try to get to hear one!
