I had a feeling these were kit amplifiers, the seller says manufactured in Japan, maybe they do both, but they are supposed to be very good from bits I've picked reading.

I've seen a lot of cheap "Made in Japan" amps in the market recently. I assume the Chinese are starting to build their amps there in much the same way as they have been making clothes in Italy (which I wasn't aware of until the Covid outbreak there at the start).
