Nice bit of Heath Robinson

Lead is a funny thing to cast home made. Without pro ally or steel moulds, you get a rough bubbly finish on sand and wood. I think that may be why the underseal was slapped on. Other thing is that the rim drive has reduced contact on the outer platter. It will grip more rubber and metal on inner rim. A rim drive on outside would have a thicker rubber wheel to increase contact area/ Who knows, the speed stability may be good? Hats off to the guy anyway!
