New series: The Rise Of The Murdoch Dynasty

The Murdoch dynasty actually began with dad Keith Downunder, who was also a muckraker who tried to influence things. He was dead against Aussie general John Monash because Monash was (a) of German descent and (b) Jewish "and you know how pushy they are". The campaign was so successful that Australian Prime Minister Billy Hughes came to France with the express intention of sacking Monash - but then saw Monash in action, how meticulous was his planning and how highly the British High Command thought of him. Monash went on the be the first commander knighted in the field for 200 years. His meticulously-planned assaults played a major role in making even Ludendorff see that the game was up.

It didn't end there. Monash strongly supported the idea of a memorial for the Diggers who had done so much, and he championed the Shrine of Remembrance. Keith screamed against it in the Herald, of which he was the editor, portraying it as Monash's vanity project, but it got built and now stands in King's Domain and has become a Melbourne landmark.

So Rupert comes from a line of newspaper c**ts, who'd have guessed. The sooner the leathery scumbag dies the better. I wonder what happened to Buffy the vampire slayer, maybe we could all chip in for her to do one last staking.

Very disappointed in Jerry - thought she’d have seen him off by now.
