Too true! The late 60s were also tasty. The 61 is a tough act to follow.

The new one is a natural rework of the preceding model but yes, dated looking.

I think the new one is mid engine not rear. IMO they should stick to what they're good at, making simple/daft-fast FR cars. Trying to crash the MR gang's party at this point doesn't bode well.

Although if it lights a fire under the arses of a few of the regular bunch and they make something special off the back of it then it will have served a purpose.

I went to a car show with my cousin in his silver C3 vette. It looked absolutely stunning and certainly turned heads but the ride quality was awful, really awful!

ooh, that’s a shame. The 76 model is imprinted on me as perfection after spending the summer in the States as a schoolboy.
