Auralic has today announced a new addition to its lineup, in the form of the Altair G2.1 streaming DAC and preamplifier. Priced at £4,599 and due to ship at the end of May, the Altair G2.1 lifts the flexible feature set of the Altair G1 to G2.1 levels of performance, and at the same time adds a new Auralic-designed moving magnet phono stage, a line level analogue input with home theatre bypass option and an analogue preamplifier section based on the design of the Vega G2.1.
