1. Things you need to know about the new ‘Conversations’ PM system:

    a) DO NOT REPLY TO THE NOTIFICATION EMAIL! I get them, not the intended recipient. I get a lot of them and I do not want them! It is just a notification, log into the site and reply from there.

    b) To delete old conversations use the ‘Leave conversation’ option. This is just delete by another name.

Each week on Facebook I publish NARP, the New Album Releases Project. The difference is that rather than providing an inventory of what's new, the albums listed are ones to which I have personally listened. The music spans multiple genres, so there should be something hopefully for everyone. I make the text of the list available as a shared text file, so here's the link and the list:

New for 2019: Single Asterisk (*) = Must Listen, Double Asterisk (**) = Must Own, Ridiculous number of Asterisks = You Should Have Owned This Yesterday Hash (#) = Special Circumstances, and now (???) = Introductory Exploration (>>) Horizon Expansion (my personal rating system, your mileage may vary) <grin>

Excellent, I often wonder why shared playlists and various other e-options of sharing music aren’t more popular on PFM.

Is the list attached and linked for 2019?

Is the link a live link updated weekly?

Care to give the Facebook link?

    Cheers,

It is published every week, usually Saturday morning stateside unless I am on the road.
It is only recently that I started making the list shareable on Google Drive. This was started early in 2018 so there is much music to be ... tasted.

    Enjoy

This week marks the re-master and re-issue of Wilhelm Kempff’s 1965 complete set of Beethoven Sonatas. These are recordings/performances not to be missed. They are THAT special.

Nice to see Alice Cooper, Robbie Robertson, and Slash on there along with Liam Gallagher. Do listen to Liam’s lyrics.
Some artists that are truly worth your attention: Devendra Banhart, Ning Feng, SKÁLD, and Ikebe Shakedown.
And ‘blasts from the past’: Ian Dury and Mungo Jerry

In the interest of making NARP even more portable than it is, I’ve made the list downloadable so it cannot only be read but shared from my Google Drive.
