NAP 135s Cooling fans

I can hear when the cooling fans on my two 135s are 'on'. This raises the following questions.
1 Should these fans be running silent?
2 Does the noise they make indicate that they should be replaced?
3 Is their replacement a DIY job?
Thanks for your responses.

They are ‘virtually’ silent. Which means you can hear them sometimes. Nothing to worry about. I can hear mine but only during these heatwaves we are having.

  1. Nope, they're just a bit noisy
  2. Nope, see 1.
  3. Not really, you can easily replace them with something potentially quieter, but the fan control board would need re-calibrating, and that's done under a specific bench load test to maximise the heat dissipated by the amp and power supply board.

If you’re playing music loud enough to set the fans spinning, you shouldn’t be able to hear them.

yes they make a noise.
