  1. Things you need to know about the new ‘Conversations’ PM system:

    a) DO NOT REPLY TO THE NOTIFICATION EMAIL! I get them, not the intended recipient. I get a lot of them and I do not want them! It is just a notification, log into the site and reply from there.

    b) To delete old conversations use the ‘Leave conversation’ option. This is just delete by another name.

Nap 135

    Does anybody have an interior picture of an unmolested Nap 135 they could let me have a look at please?

    What does the board in the lower right of the amp do?

    Temperature sensing and fan controller.

    Quite a clever board! It compares the Vbe of one of the transistors on it (and the 135 heatsink) to a reference voltage and switches on the fan using the other one when it gets too hot (44 degrees C IIRC).
