1. Things you need to know about the new ‘Conversations’ PM system:

    a) DO NOT REPLY TO THE NOTIFICATION EMAIL! I get them, not the intended recipient. I get a lot of them and I do not want them! It is just a notification, log into the site and reply from there.

    b) To delete old conversations use the ‘Leave conversation’ option. This is just delete by another name.

A customer of mine is receiving his Solstice shortly, unfofortnately due to a change of circumstances since ordering he is having to sell it and has asked me to sell it for him, all sealed boxes.

I assume the buyer is treated as first owner, first warranty owner, no transfer etc?

Not sure how this works in the UK but in the US, the dealer isn't considered an owner. As his original customer never took possession of the Solstice (even though he paid for it), any buyer the dealer sold it to would be considered the original owner with full warranty coverage. Surprised Central Audio wouldn't be clearer on whether this is the same in this instance and, if not, why not(?)

To be fair to Central Audio, he's offered to clarify this to anyone interested in buying. If that's you, you need only phone him.

I can be totally clear on it for a potential purchaser, as you are presumably in the US you aren’t interested in purchasing it as it’s 230v, Naim are very clear on the warranty and in this case it’s 2 years from the date it was suppled to the customer and that warranty is transferable, is that clear enough for you as someone with no interest in purchasing it ?

I'll bet Class A can switch the voltage. Have a pre-Thanksgiving bump from the US!
