Naim 1 AMP vs Suprernait

barring the obvious power output of the supernait....I compared a newley capped Nait 1 with a bog standard Supernait and I found the Nait 1 more engaging at lower levels than the Supernait.....It did not bring a smile to my face in the same way as the older Nait 1....since the recap and service it sounds huge....that's the only way I can describe it.....any comments anyone' as I was not overly impressed with an uninvolving sound of the newer amp....???
 
Apart from the Nait 5, maybe Nait 3, the SN is IMO certainly not SUPER, its downright dissappointing

Really in need for an upgrade to something like MK2 or whatever

The original Nait 1+2 and the 5i are classics, excellent amplication
 
My friends Nait 2 is very engaging, like my mono 110's, just haven't found the speakers to match the volume levels I like :)


Not heard a SN, but the new Naim I have listened to, IMO , we're hifi rather than musical
