NAD Soft Clipping, better to use it or not?

Sorry, do any of you have experience using the Soft Clipping feature in NAD amplifiers?

Thank you.

When I had a 3020, 40 odd years ago, I didn’t use the soft clipping. It burnt one of my AR38 tweeters.

as others have said... if you dont massively push the amp, turn it off. NAD had a bunch of innovative features for use in inappropriate situations or with terrible ancillaries. Commendable in many ways. But turn them all off if you dont listen at 120db or use a horrific £50 turntable with a massively warped record on it (infrasonic filter). Always admired the innovation in NAD. They gave the amp the best chance to survive over-entusiastic folks as well as perform decently for the rest of the population.
