So at 09:00hrs I had an online interview for a Biology Post in Yangon.
Tough enough interview.....
Interview concluded at 10:00hrs
10:08 the school emailed my boss for references.
There is a coup! FFS

So last year the pandemic put paid to my Thailand plans now this...some higher force wants to keep me out of S.E. Asia!

Should I try for HCMC or do the fish think some other disaster will befall Vietnam?

Increasing stresses with the neighbours. Either a lot more Rohingyas will be expelled into Bangladesh and onwards or they will just slaughter them. Genocide has become OK these days.

Thailand have not been doing any genocide, a big difference.
True democracies are rare in SE Asia, maybe the Philippines

This was brought front and centre recently by new student protests, prompting close internal attention on the Gov's reaction. Quiet now only due to Covid restrictions in BKK, the situation is waiting to restart.
