Munich High End - worth going?

Yes, absolutely well worth going, second only to CES in the states. In fact it's a more manageable show with a tighter focus so possibly more rewarding. Wangle a trade pass though, no point rubbing shoulders with the Hoi palloi...

I've never been to the show, but I lived in Munich for a year. If you want a good time outside the show and you like good beer, there are few finer destinations.

Is that the German spelling of 'Hoi Polloi' ?

Would be very interested in visting this one day. Anyone got any suggestions please of places to stay at the budget end of things?

Many thanks.

There's a decent hotel 400 yards down the road. Figure 400 quid for flight and a night, food beer and transfers.

Hi all,

I life in Munich and so I hope I can help with some information’s

- The MOC (place of the HighEnd) is somewhere in the middle of nowhere in a industrial area. But there is a subway-station( "Kieferngarten" - Line Nr 1) around 300 meters away.

So I would recommend a hotel more close to the city.

- Munich isn’t cheap an also the hotels are not cheap. A fair offer you can find here: https://www.motel-one.com/de/hotels/muenchen/. But with google maps and booking.com you will find a lot of other options.

- at the same time, there is the "hifideluxe" in a Munich hotel (http://www.hifideluxe.de/). It is located in the Marriott Hotel München. There is a free shuttle service to the High End (and free entry)

Hope, it helps
Christoph
