Been putting together a system for my son. Rega P3 RB301, Elys, Sony AV receiver (to be replaced by a 42/nicap/140 when I get a balance pot) and have added a pair of Mission 700LE
Reckon the Missions could be tweaked to improve them some, better wiring and some damping of the cabinet. Any recommendations for what to do, what damping materials, how much to apply? Is it worthwhile doing anything with the crossovers?
Obviously don't want to spend a lot on speakers that only cost £26 but would be fun taking him through the process and letting him hear the results of his labour.
