Mike Nesmith albums advice

I have had his greatest hits for a while and recently have been somewhat seduced by it so I thought I would get a couple of his albums.
What would you say are his best albums (inc. Nitty Gritty and other lineups)?
Magnetic South seems to be overwhelming favourite but what about the others.
(P.S. I know there a cheapish box set of 5 cd’s but I don’t want that much all at once)

My particular fave is 'Infinite Rider on the Big Dogma'. 'The Newer Stuff' is sublime too, especially if you can snag a good copy on vinyl.

These two are a good buy...... some great laid back tunes with psychedelic overtones on Tantamount to Treason Vol 1 (there's no Vol 2 btw) "In the Afternoon" is a wonderful song. I really like the more traditional country rock on Nevada Fighter too. Tantamount seems to be regarded as one of his weaker efforts, and it is a different to most of his other albums, but I really rate it.

I have the original vinyl of both, which sound pretty good. No idea of the SQ with these two.
