  1. Things you need to know about the new ‘Conversations’ PM system:

    a) DO NOT REPLY TO THE NOTIFICATION EMAIL! I get them, not the intended recipient. I get a lot of them and I do not want them! It is just a notification, log into the site and reply from there.

    b) To delete old conversations use the ‘Leave conversation’ option. This is just delete by another name.

    Mick Slattery founder member of Hawkwind has died.
    Sad news,I must have seen Hawkwind at least 9 times.

    I’ll shortly be burned as a heretic, but I’m not actually sure who he is! I’ve just dug the first two albums out and I can’t spot his name anywhere. What albums was he on?

    RIP anyway, anyone in early Hawkwind is to be missed.

    He only played on the Hawkwind Zoo demos, but apparently Mike and Dave were great mates.

    Seeker_UK Feelin' nearly faded as my jeans

    He played in the Space Ritual band, is one of the guitarists on the track "Dealing with the Devil" that appears on a lot of Hawkwind compilations and, IIRC, appeared in the BBC documentary.
