Interesting for the irony factor, but also for the fact that this "final edition" came with an external PSU and upgraded parts. This one also appears to have been recently serviced with new thermal paste etc, so it might actually be reliable. Certainly a good VFM way into Class A.

Here we have a rare find, The last of the original A1 amplifiers from Musical Fidelity. This being the final version has much upgraded components than the original A1 although this unit gets quite warm to the touch!
