I saw him play a few years back - absolutely fantastic.
I only have his first album Afelan (Amazon) which is a pretty rough and ready lo-fi affair - I really like how raw and immediate it sounds.
Sahel Sounds who put out all his records until recently is a really interesting label. They have some 'name your price' sampler albums for download on their Bandcamp page for folks who want to investigate further.
