John, will the fact that the new DAC chips are not shipping yet affect the dates, or are you planning to test with the original ESS chips?

Tim,

By the time the PCB is ready to be built the new ESS devices should be shipping, we will have samples, but otherwise we can test with the current 9018's although they are not a direct drop-in.

I like the end-of-March dates!
Hopefully the chassis won't go over the standard 2U size in height.

Currently its 70mm high, although I need to sit down and confirm that with the doubling screening we have the required height internally - and then theirs also the issue of the 4.3" panel (which would not add much height).

Knowing that I have solutions for the chassis and the price is in the correct ball park I've not spent any further time on the Chassis until the PCB are completed / trip to China.
