I was certain that they had thrown in the towel due to C19, but not so.

Great (very) small venue - a bit of a trek for me but we have seen Melanie de Biasio and Zola Jesus there.
If within a reasonable distance, keep an eye on them. A quick flick through who is playing, Rag n Bone Man 6th November should be a great evening. Wolf Alice are also lined up.

Restaurant and bar at the front of the building. Very close, free, on-street parking has been no problem when we have gone, but check before you go.

Well, that brought back some memories! It used to be a fabulous rice and three plus Nan sort of Indian restaurant, much frequented by me and my friends when we were at college over the road. Massive meals for about £3, I guess that was 93/94?
Next door was the Flea and Firkin, many a pint sunk in there as well. Must make the effort to go see something there soon.

The Deaf Institute and Gorilla were saved when they were bought by Tokyo Industries last July. I believe Tim Burgess was instrumental in saving them as well.
