So is the only thing we can say about expensive mains cables is that they can suppress (maybe) RFI?
That can be very easily and cheaply achieved as mentioned above.
RFI can be suppressed for pennies. The principle is well-understood and does not require ****y wire at £2k.

I even gave instructions for doing this properly with a ferrite toroid twice in the post... totally ignored!
It can be proved that at least 2 mains cables can indeed remove RFI from the mains,
