MacOS wants to compose, delete and edit my emails, messages and contacts ...

I have a Mac and changed my Google password the other day. I used a Safari automatic one. I was then unexpectedly asked by Google Mail to put in the new password. I did and got GMail working. My email address finishes in .net and GMail is the host. I think that's the correct term.

Since then I have been asked by Google every day to confirm my password, but ignored it until this afternoon.

When I put the password in I was told that MacOS wants permission to create, edit and delete my emails, contacts and messages. At this point I cancelled.

Do I just press the Accept button and let Apple take over my life?

Thanks,

Jack

Goto apple settings and internet accounts and reapply the password in the relevant gmail account.
