M2Tech hiface Problems

Recently purchaced from here for friend. M2Tech Hiface 1

But his computer wont say hello. All instructions followed, when the Drivers are trying to install,it says please connect M2tech but the computer doesn't recognize.
Win 7, 32 bit
Help greatly appreciated

Sorry if you've already checked a hundred times... you did use the 32bit driver?

It should work in any USB port, but it HiFace was developed before USB3 - have you tried other USB ports just in case?

Also, have you restarted the computer with the HiFace plugged in?

If this doesn't work, I'd suggest following the instructions in the manual to uninstall, restart, and try again. Good luck!

Yes used the 32bit driver he has 2 x usb2 & has tried both will get him to try restarting with it plugged in.

I recall having to have 2 go's at this. So uninstall the driver, then reinstall, then connect Hiface.

Do not let Windows try its usual autofind of drivers.

Mine was a 64 bit install.
