Luxman integrated amps

Anyone know enough about these to recommend / rank the integrated amps they have produced over the years, starting from the 70s and finishing in the 80s?

I am drawing a shortlist of muscle amps, and of the Luxman stuff the L100 looks interesting for the money. Any others to consider? Valve recommendations also welcome / encouraged.

They are still in production, I'm using a new one right now!

Try to get a classic with "real" speaker terminals?

5XX series I can recommend, as I have had a 570Z's for the last 3 years. This is from the "dreaded" Alpine years, but it is a fine amplifier. Includes all the usual tone controls (but no headphone socket, strangely enough), plus two phono inputs and a CD input that can handle the higher voltage outputs of most modern CDPs.
It's "Class A" 50wpc - actually it's biased Class A... and weighs in at around 30kgs.

Insides before cleaning. I should send the amp back to Lux for servicing, but it just keeps on working fine...
