Martyn, looking at the second (the naked) picture, I wonder whether the polarity on one of the tweeters wasn't mistakenly connected? at least, I haven't seen a mirror-polarity-connected tweeter... or perhaps one tweeter is just upside-down?

They are connected properly.
I liked the way they looked...

They are NOS T27s.
New Falcon ones have two black leads.

I'm not sure when Kef changed to black from blue and black.
