Little Richard RIP

Another Legend leaves us. My Dad's favourite and rightly so.

This from Mystery Train by Greil Marcus is hilarious. I've tried looking but not found a clip.

Oh no...in the Comments section:
"For years I relished reading and re-reading this segment countless times in my worn-out copy of “Mystery Train.” A bit disappointed when, thanks to the internet, I could finally see the actual episode and find that Greil’s recounting bears very little resemblance to reality:

That's 1hr 55mins long...think I'll stick with my imagination.

His Majesty has gone. R.I.P.

I have a couple of his live albums, they are fantastic.

The man could whoop like no one else.

Shame. He and Chuck Berry stood side by side in my rock and roll hall of fame. They were different, but they both knew how to rip it up.

My parents thought Little Richard was a bit weird. He is now up there or downstairs resting with them, which should make their afterlife interesting. RIP Mr Richard.
