I'm using the preouts on my AVR to seperate amplifier using HT Bypass for the main front L/R speakers but I have to run the amp at full volume as the preouts seem to be fairly low and don't like the idea I may forget to lower the volume before switching inputs on the amp and could blow something as a result.
Has anybody any recommendations for something that will increase the gain so I can turn down the amp, something passive would be preferred to save having to find a free ower socket although I wonder if that'd only reduce volume and not be able to increase it.
