LG C8 OLED - how to set the 'turn on' channel

Whenever I switch on my new LG TV, it automatically starts up TV channel 1.

That's a nuisance because I don't ever use TV channel 1 (signal comes from my BT box via HDMI 4) so I get an error message about the channel not being set up.

Anyone out there with an LG TV know how to tell it to either switch on the 'last viewed' input (which is what my SONY TV's do by default) or always switch to HDMI 4 on start up ?

I can't find the answer in the rather crude LG manuals.

Try the following: Settings => All Settings => Programmes => Programme List Update
Make sure this option is set as “Off”.
Should stop the update process which impacts input selection next time you turn on the TV.

You’ll probably have to connect your BT box to the ACR input which is HDMI 2 on my LG TV.

Yeah that Programme List Update setting fixed my new LG just last week
