Lavardin Amplifier Question

I have been looking at a few Lavardin Amplifiers on the s/h market and noticed on a few that the labels on the back of the amps have started to come away.

Is this normal or have the owners been trying to peel them off for some reason?

Thanks,

Rob

Hmmm, come to think of it, I had that with my Lavardin a few years back. It wasn't a great match for my Super Elves, so I moved it on quickly.

From the couple that I have seen-and it has been awhile, the labels on them are really not much, and maybe a guess here, that they just don't adhere real well over the long haul?

Thanks for the replies. There is something not quite right about the amp anyway so won't be bothering.

As the UK distributor of Lavardin i can concur that some of the older amplifiers have had issues with the adhesive on the labels drying out
and to be fair all i do is use a light mixture of cow gum and then a cloth to push the excess out and its as good as new
all the newer amplifiers dont have this problem ISX ISXref ITX ITX20
