Kit you regret not buying

Denon DP-100 in a shop in Eindhoven for £200 back in about 1990. I was in a van and had room in the back, so could have brought it home. But I didn't really know what it was although it was obviously quite serious!

About to regret not buying a Toshiba 9000 DVD player on another forum which are also a excellent transport. Its local its cheap but I need to sell stuff before I can buy anymore kit.

Also likely to get little use.

Picking up my first ever turntable (s/h P25) the seller asked if I'de like to keep the installed rarely used Benz Wood MC for an extra 400€. I said no-thanks and later found out its about 1100€ new. Damn!

not hi fi, bvut i recall in the early 90's seeing an original heuer monaco for £200 in a london watch sellers, liked it but didn't bother, now - £2-3k for a mint one

Evil Emperor, Ardbeg's lovely stuff isn't it? The price varies a lot, but I thought the going rate was about £30 a bottle and certainly £40 is reserved for the "specialist shops" where the markup on some (Highland Park too) is crazy. Hmmmm, must track some Ardbeg down. It's been a while!

A lot vinyl I regret not buying on release, Cinematic Orchestra, Bonobo, Kruder & Dorfmeister, Boards of Canada etc. All there material is fetching stupid money at the moment.
