What's the problem? Mr Vaz has not apparently taken a psychoactive drug or paid for sex. He is also generous in that he offered to buy a couple of Lotharios some charlie. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-50212221
Vaz obviously has the high moral standards necessary to be Chair of the House of Commons Home Affairs Select Committee (HASC).

The thing that got me thinking, or laughing, was that they thought he had been very naughty by offering to buy drugs for someone else and not for his own consumption (which would have been OK ?)

I said nothing about her religion. For sure if she had tried dominating Asian Catholics in Leicester, she would have been very ineffective as a politician.
Leicester also has large Muslim and Sheik communities, but they are not likely to run after a Catholic or Hindu.
There are also 2-3 times as many Hindus as Christians in Goa.
