Kef x300a active speakers, one channel lower than the other

Hello, I have some active kef speakers and over time the right channel seems to have degraded in volume. I am an engineer so prepared to do some DIY but I have zero experience in these type of electronics. I dont know if part of the amp has gone or something else.

Any ideas?

Or...anyone facy buying these off me for a repair project?

cheers - craig

Running into the same problem here with my KEF X300A. The left channel now has about 1/3 the volume level of right side. More importantly even at max level, the general sound level (if balanced to midpoint) is barely acceptable for a conference call. Soon that pair of speakers will really only offer mono sound from one channel. Engineer too here but not sure I can fix those. Makes me wonder if I should buy another expensive pair of KEF powered speakers or go with Totem's Kin Play product instead.

I've plumped for some active AE1's, but a dac is also needed for these. More money but they are another level soundwise.
